Oh hey, Elle Woods

Oh hey, Elle Woods

We live in a creative world where everything new is inspired by something else – so proving something was your original idea or design has always been difficult. That’s where fashion law comes in – the gray area that left designers without power and often in long court battles is now being cleared up. Fordham University in New York will now be offering a Master of Laws (LLM) degree.  The programme will focus on issues such as fashion financing, fashion modelling law, fashion licensing and sustainability. Another major focus will also be intellectual property and the issues pertaining to what is new and what is inspired.
